On October 22, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon posted a photo on her Instagram that hinted at a soon-to-be return for the group.

The photo is a blurred image of what looks like lyrics divided by parts for a song. Taeyeon also posted the caption, “Done with recording for today. We are preparing for an album too! It’s gonna come out soon! And I didn’t blur this on purpose, my camera is broken hehe.”

[genie K-POP News by Soompi] : A Pink Greeted by Hundreds at Airport in First Visit to Taiwan

On October 20, the girl group A Pink held the “2013 A Pink Taiwan Fan Meeting” in Taiwan’s capital city, Taipei. A publicist from A Cube Entertainment revealed that 1,500 excited fans attended the event.

A Pink’s first visit to Taiwan began with a bang, as a crowd of 200 excited fans enthusiastically greeted them at the airport with cheers.

During the three hour fan meeting, A Pink delighted their fans as they performed their hit songs including their debut track “I Don’t Know.” Fans also got the chance to talk with the members.

After their successful fan meeting in Taiwan, A Pink will head off to Singapore for a fan meeting that will be held on October 25. Singaporean fans, get ready for A Pink!

[genie K-POP News by Soompi] : Shin Seung Hun Reveals New Album Cover Image

Before the release of his new album, “Great Wave,” on October 23, Shin Seung Hun revealed his album cover image for preview.

On October 21, the image was posted on his official teaser site (www.shinseunghun.com). He amplified the anticipation of the new album that is predicted to show not only the change and progress in his music, but also how more sophisticated and classical his appearance has become.

In the image, Shin Seung Hun is dressed in a white suit. His overall look is standard yet modern posing as if he is going to walk right out of the image. Since his debut, Shin Seung Hun usually showed images of himself with his head down or emphasized his profile. However, he is looking straight ahead in the cover image for “Grave Wave” giving off a more provocative feel. Shin Seung Hun attempts to shed off his old skin and expresses himself with confidence.

The album’s cover image is also grabbing attention as Shin Seung Hun’s first collaboration with famous the photographer Hong Jang Hyun, who has worked with trendy artists including Lee Hyori and BIGBANG. “Great Wave” is the final album to Shin Seung Hun’s six-year-long project titled “3 Waves of Unexpected Twist.” He has joined hands with Hong Jang Hyun who has a reputation for shooting sophisticated and sensible images.

[genie K-POP News by Soompi] : Taeyang Releases First Teaser Image for Upcoming Solo Album

Big Bang member Taeyang recently released the first teaser image for his upcoming solo album! 

The teaser image was published on YG Entertainment’s very own blog on October 21. YG Entertainment had originally planned to release Taeyang’s album this past September, but instead opted to release it later. According to sources, Taeyang has put everything into his solo album, which will feature many other talented artists on it as well. 

The last time Taeyang released a solo album was back in 2010 with “Solar.” The last three years have been way too long for Taeyang’s fans!

So far, fellow Big Bang member Daesung already released his solo album in Japan while Seungri and G-Dragon have dropped their solo albums already in Korea as well. In the acting world, T.O.P has been busy filming “The Alumni,” which will hit theaters on November 6.
